Huge store with all brands of Prada- it's worth while!! A bit difficult to find, but don't be shy to ask for directions.. every one in town knows where it is. They have Prada, Miu Miu, Jil Sander, Car shoes.. great. Big collection of bags, sun glasses and accessoirs.

The Prada store is two minutes' walk from Omotesando subway station, in Minami-Aoyama (southwest of central Tokyo). Take exit A5 from the subway station, and follow Omotesando Avenue towards the southeast. You will immediately see the Prada store on your right.

A series of experiential and service-oriented features enhances both functioning and aura of the Prada stores. The dressing rooms are equipped with "magic mirrors”: a plasma screen invisibly built into the large mirror surface that allows customers to see themselves both from the front and the back at the same time. An integrated time delay can even capture and replay movements. The doors are made of Privalite glass that the customer can switch from transparent to translucent and control the privacy of the dressing room. Equipped with RFID (radio frequency identity) antennas, the "garment closet" is able to register merchandize brought into the dressing room and display an inventory of icons on a touch screen. Here, the customer can request more specific information on the clothes, but ... browse through alternative items of the collection.

The technology with the greatest implications for retailing research may be the e-tag chips attached to merchandise at Prada. Gap, Toys R Us, Bloomingdale's, and Hollywood Video. The size of a postage stamp, e-tag chips are capable of storing and sending wireless signals with information such as the product name, when it was manufactured, its location, directions for use and expiration date.
