Powerpuff Girls: Blossom
built 234 days ago
[E]ven when it careers out of control, "Powerpuff Girls" isn't a chore to watch. The story starts out simple and sweet: A fellow named Professor Utonium who finds himself disillusioned with the meanness and ugliness of the world throws some carefully chosen ingredients into a pot in his laboratory (sugar, spice and a dash of the mysterious chemical X) and concocts three little daughters, Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup. All three are blessed with amazing superpowers: They can soar through the air with the speed of houseflies; after putting together a PBJ Dagwood in record time, they zip the crusts off with their laser-beam eyes.

The Powerpuff Girls of course–Blossom (the orange-y/pink one), Bubbles (the blue-eyed blonde one), and Buttercup (the green one with an attitude), created in a laboratory by well-meaning, square-jawed Professor Utonium, created out of sugar and spice and everything nice. Oh, and an accidental drop or two of Chemical X courtesy Jojo, a careless lab ape, giving these super cute test tube tots superhuman powers.

Princess Morbucks (voiced by Jennifer Hale): Princess is a spoiled, insecure little rich girl, whose partially unseen "daddy" allows her to finance various evil plots to destroy the Powerpuff Girls. In one episode she is told by Blossom that you can't just go out and buy superpowers, and she retorts, "Oh yeah what about Batman?" Her hatred of the girls stems from her rebuffed attempt to become one of them. Her name is a play on words of Daddy Warbucks from Annie.
