Pokerroom has been one of the fastest growing rooms during the last year. Player volume is top 5 in the industry at the moment. The software comes in two versions, one that requires no download and the download version. The no download software is great for Mac and Linux users, and the first choice for Mac and Linux users. The download version has a nice design with good playability.

Pokerroom has now added Omaha and 7 card stud along with the Texas Holdem they always offered. If you want to play for "real money", they offer tables ranging in stakes from $1-$2 to $25-$50. They have play money tables that go all the way up to $1-$200. Pokerroom.com has 10 man tables along with 5 man and 2 man (heads up) tables. Their "real money" tournaments are getting better all the time. They have plenty of 10 man tournaments going around the clock with buy-ins from $5 to $100.

Pokerroom.com seems to have fewer frills than any other site out there. The GUI is simple and easy to follow. The button commands make moving chips into pots without a mouse quite simple. The sit-and-go qualifiers are plentiful and at most put you one step from making substantial money. The monthly draw gives you a chance to earn a fully paid seat to a WPT event, and the multi-table tournaments are smooth with fair payouts. Plentiful bad beats make some folk refer to the server as Jokerroom, but that is just poker and the emotional roller coaster associated.

Pokerroom offers a player points reward system. For each raked hand in which a player is dealt, that player will earn points based on the rake amount. Points can be used for buyins to tournaments or the points can be turned back in for cash in a program called Player Points Payback. 1000 points = $10. $1000 is split among the 50 top point getters on a daily basis.
