Pokémon Stadium 2: Game Boy

For those who are undecided or have never played the original, keep in mind that Stadium 2 is not a stand-alone experience. It serves as an add-on to the Game Boy titles and is sort of the next challenge for trainers who have Pokémon level 50 and above. Make sure you already own a large group of diverse Pokémon at various levels or be willing to go back to the Game Boy titles to retrain your Pokémon to qualify for some of the game's tournaments.

While Pokémon Stadium does not have a storyline per se, progress in the game can only be made by winning Cups in the Stadium and completing the Gym Leader Castle. When all Cups have been won and the Gym Leader Castle completed, Mewtwo will appear in the sky over the Stadium. Defeating Mewtwo will unlock Round 2, in which the player must re-challenge the Stadium, Gym Leader Castle, and Mewtwo in order to complete the game.

Suffice to say, Pokémon Stadium 2 is a vast improvement over Pokémon Stadium 1 and if you are a Pokémon fan and don't mind the Japanese, this is definitely a game to get! Although, most of you will want to wait until December to get this game since it will be released in the US by then.
