  1. Grace Kelly -- Princess Grace
Grace Kelly (1929-1982) was a Girl Scout from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who grew up to become an American film actor and Princess Grace of Monaco. Her first motion picture was Fourteen Hours (1951). The following year she starred with Gary Cooper in the Western High Noon. In 1954, she won an Academy Award for her role in The Country Girl.
  2. Grace Kelly
Both literally and metaphorically, Grace Kelly was the cinema's fairy-tale princess; beautiful, elegant, and impossibly glamorous, she transcended the limits of Hollywood aristocracy to attain the power and glory of true royalty. Born November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, her father was a wealthy industrialist while her mother was a onetime cover girl. Her uncle, George Kelly, was the Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist behind the plays The Show-Off and Craig's Wife. At the age of ten, she made her own theatrical debut in a Philadelphia-area production, and in her late teens she moved to New York, where she worked as a model while attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After turning down a Hollywood contract for fear of being typecast as a starlet, Kelly began to work in television, and in 1949 she made her Broadway debut in a revival of August Strindberg's The Father. When Hollywood again came calling, she accepted and was soon cast in a bit part in 1951's Fourteen Hours.
  3. Grace Moore
The image of the beautiful and smiling Grace Moore isn't indicative of Campbell County's history.... The history of this county is dominated by coal mining (and it is one of only four Tennessee counties that still has active coal mines today). The town of LaFollette was founded by an Indiana businessman of that name who bought 30,000 acres here and for many years operated the entire area as his personal business empire. According to a local history web site, "the LaFollette operation included coke ovens . . . blast furnace, numerous coal mines, iron mines, railroads and, of course, a thriving city."
  4. Zero Point
The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (more commonly known as the Gravity Gun) is a tractor beam-type weapon that was originally designed for heavy lifting and the handling of hazardous materials. Introduced to the player by Alyx Vance shortly after arrival at Black Mesa East, the Gravity Gun soon becomes an invaluable tool in Gordon's arsenal.
  5. Three Days Grace -- Band
Hailing from Canada, Three Days Grace find a way to rock hard, without losing the emotional, real connection they have to their audience. With songs from One-X that unleash sharp, relentless harmonies, matched with razor edged lyrics, the band is poised to take over the music scene once again.
  6. Dogville -- Grace's Missing
When the Sheriff replaces Grace's Missing poster with a Wanted notice, accusing her of bank robbery, 'another of those little changes of light' hits Dogville and suspicions breed corruption. 'From a business perspective, you're costlier to the town' Tom tells Grace, who agrees to more hours of labor for less pay. Martha (Siobhan Fallon, "Holes") kindly offers to ring the Mission bell every half hour to keep Grace, who is now shuttling about Dogville like a demented Pavlov experiment in a rat's maze, on her schedule. Vera and Chuck's son Jason (Miles Purinton) provokes and betrays her. Ma Ginger scolds her for taking a shortcut through the gooseberry bushes. Mr. McKay's hand begins to wander. Chuck rationalizes rape. Even the slow-witted Ben (Zeljko Ivanek, "Unfaithful"), one of the first to be won over by Grace's kindness, takes advantage of her when she tries to escape. Bill Henson (Jeremy Davies, "Solaris"), whose grasp of engineering was aided immeasurably by Grace's tutoring, uses his newfound knowledge to fashion a collar restraint for her out of the dog Moses's collar and an old wheel. Tom's attempts to help Grace all end badly, and after agonizing over her sexual abuse at the hands of every man in Dogville, he asks to consummate their relationship. When he's spurned, Tom sees Grace as a reminder of all of his failings. He calls the number on the card that was given to him from the shady back seat of a Cadillac searching for Grace on the night of the gunshots.
  7. Jefferson Airplane -- Grace Slick
The Jefferson Airplane mansion at 2400 Fulton Street is a landmark in the annals of rock and roll history. Like the Grateful Dead, Airplane was a San Francisco band influencing American culture in the late 1960s. Members of Airplane bought the four-story mansion for $70,000 in 1968. It served as their studio, headquarters, home, court, castle, and party pad for over a decade. During this time, lead singer Grace Slick allegedly dosed the punch at Tricia Nixon's June 12, 1971 wedding to Edward Cox in Washingon D.C. The Blues Brothers stayed here following the New Year's Eve 1979 final show at the Winterland Ballroom.
  8. Cedar Point -- Cedar Point Amusement Park
Cedar Point Amusement Park [1] is a 364-acre amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio on one of the North Coast Beaches overlooking Lake Erie. It is often billed as the "Worlds Largest Amusement Park", and draws visitors from throughout Ohio and surrounding states. It was voted the best amusement park in the world in 2007 by Amusement Today[2] for the tenth year in a row
  9. Feminist Ethics -- Reasons
The third reason for grounding feminist ethics on orthodox principles is the biblical understanding of grace. Grace, according to orthodox understanding, is given to humanity because of Christ's life, death on the cross and resurrection. That is God's goodness offered as an unexpected and undeserved gift to humanity. This gift of God puts humanity on an equal basis, deals with human evil and gives a stable reason for taking risks. Biblical grace entails a community of caring individuals. Within the community grace validates an ethic of care.
  10. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault -- Ea Canada
The Medal of Honor games were undoubtedly some of the best shooters to ever appear on the PSone. They represented the very best in event-driven FPS action, and boasted decent multiplayer support for 32bit titles to boot. Given the success and widespread critical acclaim lavished on EAs World War II shooters, no points were awarded for guessing that the series would grace the PC. And grace the PC the series has, not surprisingly, to yet more enthusiastic applause.
