Plastic was initially used by the Tupperware company to build tanks in yet another generic attempt at world domination. Like all other attempts at world domination it was balanced out by many other people and groups attempting world domination at the same time, and went down in flames (this was the first time anyone smelled the stink of burning plastic). Unlike the other attempts at world domination, Tupperware rebuilt their company and settled on a much more realistic goal of providing useful kitchen storage containers for the masses. As a result, the company is much more popular today.
