   What the Pin Ups are all about? The allure of what is left unseen. Every girl wants to be one and every guy wants to have one! Each Pin Up piece of art is unique and tells a story. The Girly Show is inspired by this art and brings these storys to life!
2. Betty Grable -- World War Ii
   The celebrated "pin-up girl" of World War II, American actress Betty Grable was the daughter of a stockbroker and an aggressive "stage mother." When her older sister Marjorie balked at a show business career, Grable was taken in hand by her mother and trained to sing, dance, tell jokes and play the ukulele and saxophone. Despite her father's objections, Grable begged her mother to take her to Los Angeles for a movie career, preparing herself with a two-girl musical act while attending Hollywood Professional School. Lying about her age, 13-year-old Grable was hired as a chorus girl for short subjects, getting her first important exposure as the energetic blonde "cowgirl" who sings the first chorus of the first song in the Eddie Cantor film musical Whoopee! (1930).
3. Mia Kirshner -- Roles
   In 1993, Kirshner played the role of dominatrix Benita in Denys Arcand's Love & Human Remains. Her challenging role in the film brought her a nomination at the Genie Awards. Afterward, she starred in Cadillac Girls (1993), playing bad youngster Page.
4. Halloween -- Pumpkins
   The most celebrated Halloween decoration is the jack-o’-lantern, traditionally a hollowed-out pumpkin carved to resemble a grotesque face and illuminated by a candle placed inside. The jack-o’-lantern derives its name from a character in British folktales. According to these tales, the soul of a deceased person named Jack O’Lantern was barred from both heaven and hell and was condemned to wander the earth with his lantern. Orange and black, colors associated with pumpkins and darkness respectively, figure prominently in most Halloween decorations.
5. Miriam Gonzalez -- Month
   Miriam Gonzalez is a Puerto Rican American pin-up noted for her large, natural breasts. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in March 2001 and has appeared in numerous Playboy videos and Playboy Special Editions. Besides posing for Playboy, she was ... a model for the glamour Web sites PinUpFiles.com [[1]] and PinUpGlam.com [[2]]. She was a former high school cheerleader.

7. Capacitor -- Types
   An electrolytic capacitor is a type of capacitor with a much larger capacity then a normal capacitor. A normal capacitor has a capacity of a few nano Farad, but an electrolytic capacitor can have a capacity up to 100 microFarad. Unlike a normal capacitor a electrolytic capacitor has a plus and a minus side, if you connect it in the opposite direction it can get defective. On a electrolytic capacitor the plus side is indicated with a dent. If the capacitor has two pins on the same site the minus site is the site with big minus symbols on it.
8. Justin Timberlake -- Music
   Justin does a number of wild stunts that have him flying high and rolling low as he narrowly escapes disaster at every turn in the "Magnetic Attraction" spot. Directed by Craig Gillespie (director of the feature film "Lars and the Real Girl") and created by BBDO NY, the commercial demonstrates how Pepsi Stuff brings people closer to music, merchandise, apparel and more.
9. Lil Kim -- Rapper
   Lil’ Kim ... hit the scene last night, dressed to kill in a revealing leopard print shirt of some kind. Photgraphers went wild trying to capture the rapper’s rare public appearance, one of the few since her release from prison.
10. Allison Hayes -- Nancy Archer
    Allison Hayes acted in a string of B movies, along with a few "A" films, from 1954 to 1965. One of her earliest films was the Universal series entry Francis Joins the WACS (1954, with Mamie Van Doren). She counted among her friends Raymond Burr and Nancy Kulp; she worked with Burr numerous times on his Perry Mason series. In addition, Hayes made many guest appearances on popular TV programs in the 1950s and 1960s.
