The Pinnacle Systems miro DC30 is a PCI card for Windows PC or MacIntosh with NTSC or PAL system TV Video input and output plus stereo audio input and output. The card available for testing was packaged for MacIntosh, but was tested with a Pentium-III 500MHz on an Asus P3-F motherboard using the Windows drivers. The video tests were NTSC only.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., January 22, 2002 -- Pinnacle Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCLE) today announced financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2002, which ended December 31, 2001. Net sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2002 were $59,726,000, 26% higher than net sales during the prior quarter. Net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2002 was a loss of $8,279,000 or $0.15 per share. Proforma net income*, excluding charges, for the second quarter was a profit of $1,013,000 or $.02 per share.
MOUNTAIN, VIEW, Calif., Feb. 06, 2003 -- Pinnacle Systems, Inc. announced today that its MediaStream Networked Storage Video Server system has been purchased by KQED, Inc. in San Francisco, one of the top five Public Broadcasting Stations in the United States. KQED will use MediaStream servers as the foundation for its new DTV recording, storage and playout infrastructure. MediaStream servers are now in use at twenty PBS stations throughout the United States to handle playout of their high definition and standard definition signals.
