Anthony Sinclair's Australia Calling is a monthly column which usually consists of a review of some oddball acoustic phonograph that he has in his collection, but sometimes technical tips are included as well. Although no injuries associated with this product have been reported, the phonograph case split open during use and abuse testing by the Commission staff exposing the live parts of the mechanism. Additionally, the cord is not adequately secured to the unit and is shorter than the minimum required length of 5 feet.

This can be a curse or a gift, and with Phonograph, it’s a little bit of both. Yes, it got the word out about the up-and-coming ensemble, but in a sense, all the praise served only to build expectations to unrealistic levels.

COOKIE JAR: Same as #2512 above except this one has the phonograph arm broken off. Perhaps you have this same one with a broken bottom that you can use this good bottom with?
