Peter Pan is the boy who won't age, who lives in Neverland with other ageless kids, the Lost Boys. Tinkerbelle, a fairy, gives three children: Wendy, John, and Michael Darling the ability to fly; and soon they're off to Neverland, where they're soon in battle with the evil Captain Hook and his band of pirates.

In Peter Pan, both the play and the novel, the girl Wendy is invited to Neverland to be a mother for Peter's gang of Lost Boys. Many adventures ensue, often involving Peter's nemesis Captain Hook, before Wendy decides that her place is at home with her family.

Peter Pan directed by P. J. Hogan (2003), an authorized live-action movie adaptation. This version is notable for its directness in addressing the romantic elements between Peter (Jeremy Sumpter) and Wendy. Wendy was played by Rachel Hurd-Wood and Hook by Jason Isaacs, who ... plays the role of Mr Darling. The $100 million film boasted state-of-the-art special effects by ILM and took nearly a year to produce in Australia, but was not a financial success for Universal Studios.

How much money Peter Pan has raised for GOSH over the years remains a tightly-guarded secret, according to Barrie's wishes. But thanks to the enduring popularity of Peter, Wendy and Tinker Bell, not forgetting Captain Hook and the ticking crocodile, the hospital’s charity can look forward to many more years of public support.

The new “Peter Pan” novel is set in the late 1929 and begins when the Darling children have all grown up. Wendy is a Mother now, and she and the Lost Boys decide to make one last trip to Neverland in the company of Fireflyer, a fairy. Tinkerbell is still very much alive in Neverland (thanks to those children who applauded her at every performance) and Peter has begun to take on some of the characteristics of his nemesis, Captain Hook.
