PNC Bank, N.A., a member of The PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE: PNC), has entered into an agreement with The Pennsylvania State University to participate in the school's Penn State id+ Card program. Beginning in the spring of 2002, Penn State students, faculty and staff who are customers of PNC Bank will have the option of linking their id+ card (University ID) to a PNC Bank checking account and ... using their University ID as a MAC/ATM card. In addition to serving as identification on campus, the id+ card can then be used at PNC Bank ATMs, more than 1,400 of which are in Pennsylvania.

Accused in the case is Andrew Rogers, 28, who will face charges of first-, second-, and third-degree murder in the February 23rd beating death of a Penn State student. Rogers allegedly used beer bottles, a rolling pin, and a baseball bat to beat Youngcheol Park, 24, to death. He then took Park's wallet and fled the scene, turning himself into police a few days later.
