Today at 1 p.m., current and former Penn Staters will have the opportunity to meet football legend, former Nittany Lion and Pittsburgh Steeler Franco Harris. He is serving as this year's Homecoming Grand Marshall, and will be at Hintz Family Alumni Center for the Homecoming Ice Cream Social between 1PM and 4PM

The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team (14-5, 5-3 Big Ten), ranked No. 6 nationally, will send its starters to the 2008 Big Ten Wrestling Championships, hosted by the University of Minnesota. The two-day event, held in UM's Williams Arena, will take place on March 8-9. Saturday's sessions begin at 12 a.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Central and 7 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Central. Sunday's session starts at 1 p.m. Eastern/12 p.m. Central.

The PENN STATE BLUE BAND is recognized as one of the nation's finest college marching bands and performs to capacity crowds in 107,232 seat Beaver Stadium — home of Penn State Nittany Lion football. The Blue Band has performed at every major bowl game in the U.S., including the Rose Bowl and the Tournament of Roses Parade. The 2006–2007 season is the 107th year of the Blue Band's proud, tradition-filled history.

Beyond the linebackers, the class is lackluster, but that could change if quarterback Terrelle Pryor of Jeannette, Pa., considered the top recruit in the nation by most services, winds up signing with Penn State. Pryor has yet to make his decision and is leaning toward Michigan or Ohio State, but his father is pushing for him to sign with the Nittany Lions.
