Pearl: Blackberry Pearl
built 128 days ago
The BlackBerry Pearl is the first BlackBerry handset to come with a digital camera, multi-media capabilities and an expandable memory slot, while continuing to provide the full BlackBerry experience that is widely popular throughout the world. Beneath its sleek and stylish exterior, which measures just 4.2" x 1.97" x .57" and weighs only 3.1 ounces, the BlackBerry Pearl from Cingular is a quad-band GSM/GPRS and EDGE-enabled mobile application powerhouse delivering the fast performance of the latest generation BlackBerry handset platform. The built-in 64MB flash memory is now expandable with a microSD card, giving users plenty more storage for music, pictures and videos.
Image of the BlackBerry Pearl The BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 smartphone is one of the world’s smallest smartphones and packs all of the power you expect from a BlackBerry® smartphone. It comes complete with digital camera, multimedia capabilities and expandable memory. And it offers users everything else you would expect from a BlackBerry smartphone—including phone, email, web browser, text messaging (SMS and MMS), instant messaging, organizer applications and more.
RIM BlackBerry Pearl Like their siblings, the red BlackBerry Pearl and crimson Treo 680 have quad-band capabilities. Both can be used in more than 13,000 cities and towns across the U.S. and along some 40,000 miles of major highways, as well as abroad in more than 190 countries for phone calls and in over 125 countries to access data.

BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry 8100, T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl DESIGN The very sexy Pearl repudiates every dour smart phone aesthetic. The glossy black finish, bright 240 x 260-pixel color screen, and silver side bezels radiate style. At 3.2 ounces and half an inch thick, the Pearl is like two stacked iPod nanos. The old BlackBerry scroll wheel has been replaced by a trackball seemingly borrowed from the SideKick 3; as a navigation tool the ball is intuitive and very sensitive.
