Friend Day - In November 2006, PBS Kids had a program about friends and how to keep in touch with them, even when they are far away. It was very similar to a normal setup for the regular Miss Lori and Hooper block. This was the first special on PBS Kids to be hosted by Miss Lori and Hooper. Visit http://www.pbskids.org/friendday/ for this program's website.

Five animated kids present a weekly newscast online at PBS KIDS GO! News Flash Five website. Each character has a news beat they cover: national news, world, sports, entertainment & technology, and weather & science.
PBS Kids offers a variety of templates and a handbook that contains advice and rules for sites they serve. These rules cover everything from alt-tags to commercial messages and bridge pages to logo placement. PBS encourages producers to support satellite sites such as PBS Parents, which is served by a database that includes information about each site's activities as well as local stations that may use simple toolkits to promote and extend TV series on their own sites. Sites are ... expected to carry localization opportunities for co-branding with local stations.

NOTES: Each of these commercials ends with a brief set of credits, making reference to characters from PBS shows. The "Double Get Wordy" game show commercial credits include Grover as Camera operator, Prairie Dawn for Art Direction, Elmo Monster as Leona's Body Double and Big Bird credited as a Gaffer. A block of smaller credits followed, referring to the puppets as "Felt Americans".

When a PBS Kids site is partially funded by outside sponsors, PBS will mark any underwriter logos with a "sponsored by" tag. PBS selects its underwriters carefully, to ensure that the company's products and services fit PBS standards. PBS Kids sites will not contain advertisements promoting e-commerce or direct links to e-commerce.
