Paul Walker: Running Scared
built 654 days ago
You haven’t really seen what Paul Walker can do until you’ve seen him Running Scared. In his high-energy, nerve-racking new flick, Walker pulls out all the stops trying to save his life and the lives of his family from the mob.
For those of you who don’t like seeing Paul Walker get so dark, he’s got Eight Below opening only a week before Running Scared. That one is a happy true story about rescuing dogs in Antarctica.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Walker, 55, of Shawnee Mission, KS, was scared when he learned he had multiple myeloma this summer. He had a lot of questions about the disease, he was overwhelmed and he needed accurate information fast.
In February 2006, Walker starred in two films; Running Scared, an action thriller, and Eight Below, an adventure set in Antarctica. Eight Below, a family-friendly Disney film inspired by a true story, opened in first place at the box office, grossing over $24 million during its first four days.[7] The film received positive reviews and was considered a success for Walker, whose most recent films, including Timeline and Into the Blue, were financial and critical failures. Walker filmed Running Scared in 2004, wanting to participate in a darker-edged film; the film's director, Wayne Kramer, has commented that the film's character is closer to Walker's own personality than any of his previous roles.[8] In fall 2006, Walker portrayed US marine Hank Hansen in Flags of Our Fathers, a war movie directed by Clint Eastwood.
With 2001's The Fast and the Furious, Walker officially entered the action star realm, cementing his status with subsequent roles in Joy Ride and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Recent films for Walker include Into the Blue (2005) and Running Scared (2006).
