Martin was born in Windsor, Ontario, to Nell and Paul Martin, Sr. His father was a member of the Canadian Parliament, representing Windsor, and later became a prominent federal Cabinet minister. Martin spent part of his childhood years in Windsor, but received most of his schooling in Ottawa, where his family spent the fall and winter months while Parliament was in session. Because his father was French-speaking, Martin was educated in French-language and bilingual schools and became fluently bilingual in English and French. After taking an undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Toronto, he studied law, but he chose a career in business rather than law. Martin married Sheila Cowan, a friend of his sister, Mary Anne, and daughter of his father’s law partner, in 1965. They have three sons.

Prof. Martin Paul Martin has broad interests in theoretical physics. He has made lasting contributions in the fields of nuclear, atomic, and condensed matter physics. After twenty years of heavy involvement in university administration, he is resuming research on complex non- equilibrium phenomena. Professor Martin’s earlier work on many-body systems, hydrodynamics, bose condensation, non-equilibrium dynamics, chaos, and turbulence is central to much current work on these topics. He plans to work on problems where recent experimental research has rekindled interest and highlighted unresolved problems. In particular, he plans to investigate the dynamics of the formation of bose condensates and related dynamical critical phenomena.
As a child growing up in a working-class Massachusetts city, Paul Martin took part in athletic competition to provide some relief from an otherwise difficult childhood and from time in a foster home. He wound his way through his early 20s with determination, humor and uncertainty, working in construction, going to college and eventually starting a career. But it wasn't until the age of 25, when he lost the lower half of his left leg in a car accident, that Martin looked in the mirror and made a true commitment to his life and his future - and went on to become a world champion triathlete and Paralympic competitor and inspirational speaker. Martin has completed a memoir of his life entitled “One Man’s Leg.” And he recently completed his LSAT’s and is waiting admittance into law school.
While in office, Paul Martin experienced a horrible incident, where a giant Mexican tiger broke in throw his 7th story window of his home at the time. Paul tried fighting the tiger off with the giant dildo that he kept under the bed, but that only mad the tiger more aggressive. Paul then bit off the tiger's head and quickly went back to sleep. There was many questions as to why Paul's bodyguards didn't come to his aid, but a multi-million lawsuit was filed against the 4000 men. Verdict: Pending. Lol he was pwnedrog zomg
