The New England Patriots agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver- Kelley Washington. The former Tennessee Volunteer became the sixth free agent signed by the Pats in a 10 day stretch. Washington is coming off four sub-par seasons in Cincinnati where he was somewhat lost on the team's depth chart behind Chad Johnson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and Chris Henry. Kelley will join what is now a considered a crowded group with the likes of Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, Donte Stallworth, and Wes Walker among others. After a weekend filled with one rumor after another, the Patriots finally re-signed Randy Moss to a three-year deal worth $27 million. Moss reportedly turned down more money from the Eagles to stay in New England and catch passes from Tom Brady. Moss posted a message to the fans of New England, therealrandymoss.com, thanking them for their support. "I want to take time out to thank all of the fans for their support and for wishing me well in my return to New England," Moss wrote.

USA Football and New England Patriots have teamed up for the second annual Youth Coaching School. The one-day clinic is set for Saturday, May 3 (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, and is designed to prepare youth football coaches with the ability to teach the game of football and create a positive experience for their players, parents and assistant coaches.

A graduate of Rice University, Izzo has led the New England Patriots in special teams tackles in each of his four seasons with the club. Born in Fort Belvoir, Va., Izzo has been a co-captain on each of the Patriots' three Super Bowl championship teams. While at the 2002 Pro Bowl (his second of three), he visited 8,500 crew members aboard the USS Carl Vinson at Pearl Harbor. The ship left the next day to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom.
