Patrick Swayze attended St Rose of Lima Catholic School, Oak Forest Elementary School, Black Middle School, and Waltrip High School in Houston. At his initial days he was trained at the Harkness Ballet and Joffrey Ballet Schools in New York City. On his web site official he ha claimed that is partly Apache. Patrick Swayze first appeared as a dancer in Disney on Parade. After playing in the Broadway production “Grease", he made his film debut as Ace in Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979).
