The software at Party Poker has been a bit of a problem, but after a number of upgrades it’s now up to scale. The tournaments and ring games run smoothly despite the large player volume. The functionality is decent. You can play at four poker tables at once. There is a player notes function and some other basic features.
Starting in October 2006, Party Poker changed there bonus offerings to allow smaller deposits and new sign up bonuses. The minimum deposit is now only $10. See table below for more details.

Party Poker Table Despite the fact that it lost many of its players from America, the Party Poker room maintains plenty of soft competition. The non-existent table statistics make it slightly more difficult to find the fishier tables, but as already mentioned it can be useful as it provides protection from sharks when you do find such tables. The room is not as soft as it once used to be, but there are still a lot of easy-to-beat games available if you search around enough.
Party Poker offers beginners Texas Holdem Tables in both fixed limit and no limit with stakes from $0.02/$0.04 to $1/$2. New real money players can play on these tables for 45 days after they have set up a real money account. The regular Hold'em tables have fixed limit stakes ranging from $0.05/$0.10 to $100/$200. Party Poker offers ‘Beginner’ tables at the micro stakes range for No Limit and Limit Texas Hold’em. These stakes start at $0.02/$0.04 and cap out at $1/$2. They are of course very popular with the newbie Hold’em player. As players gain confidence in their abilities, it is only natural for them to move up in stakes. These tables serve as prep-schools for the future Phil Hellmuths of the world.
