Paranoia is a mental state, but in this case it's a P2P application. Paranoia is actually a Demo application, demonstrating the power of DIYP2P platform. DIYP2P is a free platform for creating your own P2P program. Anyone who knows HTML can create a file sharing program connected to the popular G1/G2 networks. Since DIYP2P is using GnucDNA as the network core, your application will have all the features of a solid P2P program, already packed with files and sharing users. Basically you can think of DIYP2P as an Open Source platform where you don't need to be a programmer to use it. All you need to do is to think of a Cool Name, Killer Logo and a Slick User Interface.

Paranoia is one of the last bosses to be confronted in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, and is found lurking in one of the top levels of the Demon Guest House, in a section that is only accessible from the Pinnacle. In addition to this, Paranoia's arena is sealed by three walls that require specific souls to be used to allow the walls to collapse and the player to engage Paranoia in combat. Paranoia presents itself in two forms: a lesser Paranoia the size of Soma that suddenly bounces off the mirror in the wall of the first combat zone, and a massively oversized demon emerging from the mirror in the adjoining room.

Intended as a spoof on other RPGs, the Paranoia rulebook is unique in a number of ways. For example, in earlier versions of Paranoia, the entire chapter on rules is labeled 'optional', and player knowledge of the rules is treasonous (treason, of course, being punishable by summary execution). Most of the rulebook is written in an easy, conversational tone that scoffs at how screwed the players are and frequently takes potshots at other notable RPGs. Various editions have ... had outrageous mechanics — such as the 'Falling From Great Heights' table, which would start with a five-foot fall and end in a category labeled 'Orbital' (the 'Orbital' distance has actually been used in some official adventures).

Paranoia affects a lot of people even if they don’t think they are affected making it hard to treat that person. Psychiatrist and/or psychologist can help them acknowledge that people are not out to attack and/or kill them. Paranoia is usually treated with antipsychotic drugs. With out these drugs, people with paranoia are hard to control. If the person is really distressed, they can be put in the hospital unless they are attacking other people or trying to harm themselves they shouldn’t be admitted to a hospital. Paranoia can be caused by more serious illnesses such as schizophrenia or manic depression, or as a result of using street drugs.
