Papa Roach - The Paramour Sessions Fourth album from nu-metal survivors Papa Roach follows 2004's 'Getting Away With Murder'. Continuing to distance themselves from the now-defunct rap-metal sound that made their name, like many of their contemporaries they have immersed themselves in metal history. On this album, they evoke the trash-glam aesthetic of 80s LA bands like GN'R, Poison and Motley Crue, whilst retaining the bite and punch of the modern production brought by nu-metal kingpin Howard Benson. Includes the single 'To Be Loved'.

Formed in 1993 and signed to Dreamworks Records in 1999, Papa Roach’s current line-up is Jacoby Shaddix (lead vocals), Jerry Horton (guitar, backing vocals) and Tobin Esperance (bass, backing vocals).
Papa Roach Papa Roach was early on influenced by bands such as Nuclear rabbit, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mr. Bungle. Indeed, their first demo, Potatoes for Christmas (1994), sounded very different from their current sound and was much more weird and funky. Indeed, the demo sounded similar in many ways to Nuclear rabbit. They eventually abandoned this style and the original bassist and drummer ended up leaving the band.
