1. Palm Pilot
   The Palm Pilot is a very smart hand-held computer based the on the Motorola 68000 Dragon Ball CPU. A few models are on the market: PalmIII, PalmIIIx, PalmV and PalmVII. (The older machines are Palm-1000, Palm-5000, Palm-personal and Palm-professional). All of the new models use the PalmOS-3.
2. Palm Pilot -- Desktop
   Plug the USB cable from the Palm pilot to your computer USB port. Turn on your Palm then push the button located on the cable connector to start the sync process. When completed, a log will appear on your Palm screen. Any data entered on your desktop or on your Palm will be updated and any new applications will be installed since your last Sync.
3. Palm Pilot -- Devices
   The inventors of the Pilot were Jeff Hawkins, Donna Dubinsky, and Ed Colligan, who founded Palm Computing. The original purpose of this company was to create handwriting recognition software for other devices, named Graffiti, but their research convinced them they could create better hardware as well. Before starting development of the Pilot, Hawkins is said to have carried a block of wood, the size of the potential pilot, in his pocket for a week. Palm was widely perceived to have benefited from the notable if ill-fated earlier attempts to create a popular handheld computing platform by Go Corporation and Apple Computer.
4. Palm Springs Area -- La Quinta
   The Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians is composed of several small groups of Indians who were living in the modern day Palm Springs area when the Agua Caliente Reservation was established by the United States Government in 1896. Archaeological research has shown that the Cahuilla have lived in the area for the past 350-500 years. The reservation occupies 32,000 acres (130 km²), of which 6,700 acres (27 km²) lie within the city limits, making the Agua Caliente band the city's largest landowner. The reservation land was originally composed of alternating squares of land laid out across the desert in a checkerboard pattern. The alternating, non-reservation squares, were provided by the United States Government to the Southern Pacific Railroad as an incentive to bring rail lines through the open desert. Tribal enrollment is currently estimated at between 296 and 365 people.
5. Gnu Go -- Pocket Pc
   Mobile GNU Go is a GNU Go player for Windows, Windows Mobiles including Pocket PC and Smartphone. Go... known as Weiqi, is an ancient board game originated in China more than 4,000 years ago. Today Go is played by millions of people around the globe.
6. Heidi -- Heidi Klum
   In early 2004, while still pregnant, Heidi began a relationship with musician Seal.[21] Klum and Seal married on May 10, 2005, on a beach in Mexico. They have two children together, both boys: Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005 in Los Angeles, California[22] and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006 in Los Angeles.[23] According to Klum, Flavio Briatore is not involved in Leni's life, and she has stated emphatically that "Seal is Leni's father." [24]
7. Apple Computers -- New
   The Apple Newton was Apple's first foray into the PDA markets, as well as one of the first in the industry. A financial flop, it helped pave the way for the Palm Pilot and Apple's own iPhone in the future.
8. Inventory Control Software -- Stock
   Windward System Five’s Inventory Control software lets you see what you sold, what you need to order and what should be left in stock. System Five can be interfaced with your Palm Pilot or various portable data collectors and your computer. It captures the data from these devices, automatically updates the database, and sends the information directly to System Five, all at the touch of a button.
9. Personal Digital Assistant -- Information
   The physicians on the team could use their personal digital assistants (Palm Pilots) (2,3,4) to organize the information for easier retrieval. Information was copied from the Microsoft Word document and transferred into the Palm Desktop software. The data can be synchronized between the desktop personal computer and the personal digital assistant—that is, data are downloaded as well as uploaded, so that any changes entered in either system will be transferred to the other. The benefits of using a personal digital assistant for electronic sign-out are portability of information and ease of finding information (5). The device weighs only 6 ounces and is about the size of a deck of cards.
10. Real Estate Contact Management Software -- Information
    Real estate practitioners can choose from three types of contact management software. Applications like ACT!, GoldMine, and Maximizer are generic solutions appropriate for the information management needs of any industry. Real estate template software utility sets such as ARES for ACT! or Trans/ACT! adapt the generic solutions to the industry's specialized needs.
