Pain Relief: Treatment
built 633 days ago
Gastrointestinal pain may require a different approach than use of the normal pain relief drugs. For example, acid reflux can cause severe pain up and down the chest; sometimes it will respond to Pepto-Bismol or other acid control medication. An ulcer may need different treatment. Pain may even be caused by one of the drugs you are taking.

Recent advancements in the formulation of pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplements, herbs and homeopathic treatments for the relief of arthritis pain have resulted in alternatives that are clinically proven to be as effective as prescription drugs. Substantial evidence now shows that the disability and pain caused by arthritis can be dramatically reduced and even prevented with safe, natural supplements. The most effective supplements are those made with pharmaceutical grade ingredients, which have greater bioavailability due to the way they are manufactured . . . more
Adlea is long-acting, with the potential to provide pain relief for weeks or months after just a single localized treatment. It is a non-opiate TRPV1 agonist with a unique mechanism of action that provides a long-lasting, localized effect on C-fibers and blocks the transmission of aching, throbbing pain caused by major surgical procedures and end-stage osteoarthritis. Because it selectively acts on pain-sensing nerve endings, Adlea does not affect other nerve fibers necessary for sensory or motor sensations, such as those needed to sense temperature or pressure. In clinical studies to date, the prolonged analgesic effect of Adlea does not seem to be associated with the systemic side effects commonly associated with NSAIDs (gastrointestinal and renal toxicities, and impaired clotting), COX-2 inhibitors (cardiovascular risks and renal toxicity), or opiates (respiratory depression, nausea/vomiting, sedation, disorientation, physical dependence, and the risk of addiction).
Before trying any pain relief approaches, it is important to talk with your doctor. Some therapies may not be safe or appropriate for you, even if they are of the nonpharmaceutical kind. Different factors need to be considered before undergoing any treatment, including your medical condition and history.
