Paige is involved in a variety of community projects including Stop Children's Cancer, Dance Alive!, and Gainesville Pet Rescue, just to name a few. As a child in rural West Virginia, Paige says the 'Golden Rule' was a guiding principle instilled by her parents. It's a philosophy she brings to her work with charitable groups, or even those individuals who are in need.

Paige was helping a woman named Carolyn regain custody of her child after getting out of an abusive relationship. Paige used magic to help Carolyn. Paige got promoted for her work with Carolyn, but had to turn it down for fear of using her magic for personal gain. Paige shortly after this started practicing orbing herself over distances, a task she would master in a few months time.

Paige earned her degree in outdoor education from Texas A&M and had her first introduction to NOLS when taking her Wilderness First Responder through the Wilderness Medicine Institute. She soon followed that with a Northern Cascades Mountaineering course. These courses led her to pursue a career with NOLS, and she recently became a field instructor for the school. It’s a line of work that balances well with her other interests, such as knitting and travel.
