In what appeared to be the tail of two halves, the Packers handed victory to the Bears last night in Lambeau field. With the exception of two James Jones fumbles in the first half, the Pack came out firing on all cylinders and looked like they would be cruising to their first 5-0 start since 1965.

In their first game under Lombardi on September 27, 1959, the Packers shut out the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. The Packers got off to a 3-0 start, but lost the next five and won the last four games, to achieve their first winning season since 1947.

The ball immediately went from Jennings to a Packers employee in the end zone. Favre celebrated with his teammates, some of who came on the field from the sidelines. But the game was not stopped for any celebration.
