Pacific Poker: Card Stud
built 621 days ago
Pacific Poker has a pleasant interface. It cards to come out a tad slower than at other poker rooms. Some people may think the speed is annoying so maybe this is a good thing for some people. The interface is extremely simple and easy to understand. The layout is standard so playing is a breeze.

You don't actually need a bonus code to receive your signup bonus at Pacific Poker; it's available to all new players there. They offer a standard 25% bonus on your first deposit, up to $100. This bonus offer is pretty much the same bonus offer they've had in place for quite a while now, and it's certainly nothing as exciting as some of the newer cardrooms are offering. But the players are so weak that it's almost like getting free money in the bank and being guaranteed a really high interest rate on it.

The majority of players at Pacific Poker are very weak. They are very loose, seeing flops with cards that don’t deserve to see anything but the muck. Tight-aggressive players will do well at Pacific Poker. The only problem skilled players will have is if they get unlucky. There is a killing to be made playing against the weak players of Pacific Poker.

For a long while, Pacific Poker only allowed you to play one table at the time, but they've made great improvements to their software. Now you can play up to four simultaneous tables. Play flows without trouble, and thanks to the mini view you can fit all tables onto the screen even without first-class resolution. The look and feel of the poker client has ... been hugely improved. A great deal of customization is possible and you can redesign your playing environment by choosing from a range of 3-D avatars, different card designs and different backgrounds. Pacific Poker has good note-taking functionality and statistical functions.

Before opening the pacific poker game, the dealer must decide how many cards each poker player can draw from the deck after the first round of betting. The standard limit is three. In some free poker games, a player may draw four cards if he is holding an Ace, which must be shown to the table.

Texas holdem is the most active game at Pacific Poker, but they ... offer Omaha and Seven Card Stud, in both high only versions and in high-low versions. There are probably 20 or 30 holdem players for every player of each other game.
