Oui Oui were a French pop group formed in 1983. Guitarist/singer Étienne Charry and drummer Michel Gondry met at secondary school in Sèvres in 1978. The repertoire of songs Oui Oui built up was a reaction to what was termed cold wave music in France and the more politicised rock groups of the era. Numerous musicians passed through the group's ranks in the early years. With the addition of keyboardist Gilles Chapat and bassist Nicolas Dufournet, a more settled line-up was established.

While members of Oui Oui probably aren't quitting their day jobs just yet, this DJ/performance unit is manna for Pizzicato Five fans who still can't get enough. Comprising vocalist Maki Nomiya (Pizzicato Five), Rieko Teramoto (TV Jesus, Pizzicato Five chorus member) and DJ Noboru (who ... does hair and makeup for the girls), Oui Oui puts on a cute and slightly retro-sexy show that featuires Nomiya and Teramoto working the twin angle, matching clothes and all. If you're imagining Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac in Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (The Young Girls of Rochefort), you're not far off. The girls alternate between deejaying, dancing, and singing, and the music centers on remakes of kayokyoku - Japanese pops - from the past, including songs from The Peanuts and Julie (aka Kenji Sawada). Formed at the end of 2000 at a gig at Kyoto's Club Metro shortly after the release of Nomiya's first solo album, Miss Maki Nomiya Sings, Oui Oui hit the event circuit in 2001, playing fashion-related events, club dates, and parties in Japan's major cities, as well as an overseas date in Taiwan. The unit stopped performing in mid-2002, regrouping in 2004.

Oui Oui disbanded in 1992. Michel Gondry has since gone on to become an acclaimed movie and music video director. The film clips he directed for Oui Oui would later feature on the 2003 DVD The Work of Michel Gondry.

OUI for win64 works the same as OUI for win32. However, the startup directory on the CD is "win64" instead of "win32." Launching OUI from the win32 directory launches OUI in 32-bit mode, used for installing 32-bit software. Use win64 for installing 64-bit software.
