The current Order of St. Origen is one of the many groups that populate Litheroy's Abbey. The members are usually former monastic types who either showed an interest in life in Origen's theories, or else just showed up bemusedly looking for the monk that the nice angel at the Gates had recommended as good at explaining what was really going on around here. As a result, the Order generally operates on a variant of the Benedictine Rule: nobody has to, mind, but the members usually find it familiar and relaxing.

Origen appears to have thought better of this act later in life. In his Commentary on Matthew he writes disparagingly of those who take 19:12 literally, and calls such an action an "outrage." This and other factors have led some scholars to doubt the veracity of Eusebius' report of the matter (which is the only report available). But it is difficult to imagine what would prompt Eusebius to fabricate an event that does not reflect all that favorably on his hero, and Origen wrote of the physical problems resulting from castration in a way that suggests personal experience.

Origen has a unique niche within the residential lending universe, and although it has difficulty securing acceptable ratings for its collateral, its loans have performed remarkably well given the nature of manufactured home lending. New turn in Origen's music happened in 2002 when Alexey Zakharenko invited opera soprano Tanya Lubimenkoto take part in the recordings of electronic/new age album "Ave Maria" (available at www.cdbaby.com/origens). Three months after the release of this album on June 2002, all tracks from the album were at the top of different international charts. "Ave Maria" (by J.Caccini) climbed to #1 at New Age mp3.com Charts, "Ave Maria" (by F.Shubert) was #1 in Electronic Classical Charts, Largo from Bach's concerto Fmin was # 1 at Progressive Metal Charts. About two months the songs occupied their #1 position and till now many tracks from this album are at the top in different international charts. The new age of Origen started in 1996 when this name appeared on the CD "Electro" "that blends together elegance and beauty dressed in electronic clothing". The creator of this CD and new Origen is Alexsey Zakharenko- composer, electronic musician, sound engineer and producer from Kiev (Ukraine). Earlier he, mainly, was deal with recording and producing of classical music. "Electro" and the next album "Era of Aquarius", which till now is the best selling CD by Origen, were challenge to Jean-Michel Jarre, Enigma, and Vangelis.
