Today's news of sending more than 100 million travelers alerts to customers comes as Orbitz Worldwide joins companies everywhere in recognizing "Customer Service Week." As part of the international event devoted to recognizing the importance of customer service, the OrbitzTLC Center in Orbitz's headquarters is hosting a pair of food drives benefiting the Chicago Food Depository. The agreement provides Orbitz Worldwide customers with access to rental cars at Avis and Budget corporate-owned and select licensee locations in the U.S. and Canada. This access includes its full fleet of car rental choices, including the Avis Cool Car Collection, which features gas/electric hybrids; the compact Toyota Prius, the full-size Nissan Altima; and, available by year-end, the mini-SUV Ford Escape hybrid.
