[O]f all, technically speaking, Oprah is not Hollywood. But even in the broad sense of TV/Celebrity/Entertainers/Artists - they’re still people. And at least Celebrity can’t come back begging/lobbying for personal interests and biased legislation.

Oprah Winfrey is the queen of daytime television and her guests range from million dollar celebrities to everyday people triumphing over the greatest odds. You never know who'll be on, but you're sure to be talking about them the next day.

In 1997 Oprah began the "Angel Network" as a fundraiser to help those in need. Her efforts have built over 200 Habitat for Humanity homes and sent hundreds of disadvantaged youth to college. Every Monday on her show Oprah urges her viewers to "Use your life" by awarding $100,000 to people who use their lives to improve the lives of others.
