AMRI offers the complete ACLS provider education course conducted totally online. By using the framework of 10 Clinical Cases (plus many additional supplemental cases), users will comfortably assimilate the core ACLS concepts and prepare for the provider certification examination. Each module has educational FAQ’s as well as a pretext. In addition, appendices addressing pharmacology and ECG recognition can be accessed throughout the program. This course is ideal for first-time candidates or for those practitioners seeking in-depth review of the material. Following completion of the educational course, users may then take the provider certification examination when ready.

The guidelines identify the issues that faculty at Michigan community colleges should address when developing online courses to be offered through the MCCVLC. This course will introduce students to some of the important principles of linguistics, as well as to the complex nature of language acquisition and use within any given society. The course will discuss how languages resemble and differ from each other, the social and psychological processes involved when individuals learn languages, the interrelation between language and gender and language and ethnicity and the social and political ramifications of different language attitudes; in addition, the course will examine the communicative and social significance of different speech acts.
