CreateSpace, part of the Amazon.com, Inc. group of companies, has announced the launch of a new online Books on Demand service. Also announced, the company is no longer charging setup fees for books, audio CDs and DVDs.

"TV shows like Friends, and a movie like Love Actually are very explicit about sex. Kids as young as 8, 9 and 10 are watching these kinds of shows and movies," she said.

Yellow Canpages books are hitting doorsteps in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and will be published in Toronto starting in the fall. After that, Ottawa and Montreal "are on the map," Mr. Vincent said. By the end of 2007, the company expects to have 5.5 million of its own books in the market."
