A site dedicated to editions of Old English texts that include the graphotactics of original manuscripts and to studies of these texts. Graphotactics concerns the incidence and measure of spacings between strings of written symbols of a text. In such texts both the graphic symbols and the spacings carry linguistic information. Site includes text and syntactical study of Beowulf.

This electronic edition of the Old English eschatological homilies is designed to bring together Wulfstan's writings on the last days and his sources in an easily accessible format. It includes newly edited texts and new translations of the five homilies, fully glossed texts of each homily, and transcriptions of the manuscripts in which they are preserved, combined with the Latin and Old English sources and analogues which pertain to Wulfstan's work and a bibliography of primary and secondary materials.

Beowulf is a traditional heroic epic poem in Old English alliterative verse. At 3182 lines, it is far more substantial than any similar work in the language, representing about 10% of the extant Anglo-Saxon corpus. The poem is untitled in the manuscript, but has been known as Beowulf since the early 19th century.
