The first estimate of numbers slain by the RPF was made by Gersony in his 1994 report. He concluded that the RPF killed between 25,000 and 45,000 persons in the months of April to August 1994. Seth Sendashonga, former minister of the interior and early member of the RPF, estimated that the RPF killed some 60,000 people between April 1994 and August 1995, with more than half killed in the first four months of that period. It seems likely, although not certain, that these estimates include persons killed in the course of combat, both civilians and militia.

RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs. People use RANDOM.ORG for holding draws, lotteries and sweepstakes, to drive games and gambling sites, for scientific applications and for art and music. The service has been operating since 1998 and was built and is being maintained by Mads Haahr who is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin in Ireland.

The original magic number. It is open problem whether there are numbers in nature. Mathematicians say that the world is all about numbers but they can't prove it without the concept of numbers. Some people say that when one sees e.g. four balls there are the number 4 - actually they just say that there are at least two men with their balls. It is known that some people assume there may be numbers somewhere but no one haven't found them yet. Some claims that this is just a big conspiracy theory. Still all engineers keep using numbers as they make plans of bridges or houses.
There are different ways of giving symbols to numbers. These methods are called number systems. The most common number system that people use is the base ten number system. The base ten number system is ... called the decimal number system. The base ten number system is common because people have ten fingers and ten toes. There are 10 different symbols {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9} used in the base ten number system.
The demand for new telephone numbers is exploding as people are communicating more than ever using additional phone lines, cellular phones, pagers, computer modems and fax machines. In addition, Pennsylvanians increasingly have a choice of which company provides their local phone service, and these competing companies require phone numbers for their customers.
The first people to see that there were transcendental numbers were Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Leonhard Euler. The first to actually prove there were transcendental numbers was Joseph Liouville. He did this in 1844.
