Nortriptyline when taken with alcohol has some adverse effects. So always avoid any alcohol when into medication. Avoid ... using some other medicines that cause sleepiness like medicine for seizures, cold medicine, pain medication, muscle relaxers or the like. They will more or less just add up some sleepiness to what nortriptyline already brings.
