The private sector in Northern Ireland is facing a dip in business, it was claimed today. Output and new orders have fallen for the first time in 57 months, according to the findings of a major study by NTC Economics for Ulster Bank. The bank's latest Purchasing Managers' Index report for the province shows the business activity/output index fell below the 50 no-change mark in December for the first time since March 2003.
