Little Miss Richie Madden, the inspiration for the Richie-Madden Foundation, came into the world Friday, according toUsmagazine.com. Nicole and Joel had a baby girl,Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Very pretty name, that is, inspired by the 1930sblonde bombshell, Jean Harlow.

Richie has one godmother, Nancy Davis, daughter of Marvin Davis and mother of Brandon Davis; Nancy was related by marriage to Paris Hilton.[9] Richie's godfathers are Michael Jackson[10] and Quincy Jones. Jones said in a People magazine interview that he has "known [Nicole Richie] since she was a baby. She's a very smart girl. When she was younger she worked eight hours a day for eight years to become an Olympic figure skater. She's a very talented girl."[11]
