In most cases clicking here will bring your favorite mail agent (for example, Netscape Messenger, or Outlook), which will ask you whether you wish to download the list of newsgroups from the server. If you know exactly that there exists a server other than news.freenet.am, which is closer to you, then you should ask your ISP to provide detailed instructions on setting up a news reader. The first program to support pulling newsgroups into Outlook was Newsgator. It's great if you monitor newsgroups and don't post back. There is a Newsgator plugin that allows you to post to newsgroups from Outlook, but it's not really up to news posting standards.

You need a special software program to access the newsgroups. Internet Explorer 3 comes with Internet News, Netscape incorporates it in the e-mail program, Internet Explorer 4 intergrates it into Outlook Express, and there are many other news packages -- like Forte Free Agent.
