The Oz Insight™ Advanced News Server has a number of extra control parameters in each control group. The Oz Insight™ SAT makes configuring these parameters quick and easy utilizing a user-friendly GUI based environment. Advanced users can control the server via telnet using the Internal Channel Protocol described in the Appendices, or alternatively edit the configuration files manually (not recommended).

By default, NetWare News Server retains articles, or posted messages, that do not have expiration headers for 10 days. The server then keeps messages in the history file for 14 days.
