Newgrounds is a site run by Tom and Wade Fulp. It is a website that houses a vast amount of Macromedia Flash movies and games submitted by the many members of newgrounds. They are then put to the test in the ‘Portal’. Newgrounds ... supports audio creators and so has an audio portal aswell. These audio submissions can be used by anyone for free as long as they provide some credit to the creator.

Newgrounds is the web's original and largest Flash showcase site. It is ... the home of Alien Hominid, the first Flash game to ever become a console game! Many Flash artists are part of the NG community and premier their latest work here.

Submitting a Flash video or game to Newgrounds gives the viewers a chance to choose to recommend the Flash to a collection or not. The collections help viewers of Newgrounds navigate the website easier to help find what they are looking for. For example; the Clock Crew collection contains Flash videos pertaining to the Clock Crew, a specific Flash group on Newgrounds as well as on their own personal website[1]. Series collections are ... alloted to popular serial Flash, such as Salad Fingers. A certain amount of votes for a collection as well as approval from an administrator/moderator is required for the flash to go into the collection.

The flash version of Hominid that was on newgrounds was amusing enough. Maybe something got lost on the way to the Gamecube/PS2. Then again paying $30 for a game that was FREE for flash could knock down its goodness a bit. ;p
