   Music365.com reported that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears spent their whole weekend with a big throbbing machine between their legs, according to The Star. Britney had splashed out on a £6,500 motorbike as a romantic present for her bike mad boyfriend Justin from N'Sync. The pair then set off on a romantic tour of California on the new Harvey Davidson XL 1200C sportster. According to a 'pal' Britney bought the motorbike as a thank you for Justin's support as she attempted to launch her film career. Thanks Joakim.
2. New York -- New York City
   In the 1920s, New York City was a major destination for African Americans during the Great Migration from the American South. By 1916, New York City was home to the largest urban African diaspora in North America. The Harlem Renaissance flourished during the era of Prohibition, coincident with a larger economic boom that saw the skyline develop with the construction of competing skyscrapers. New York City became the most populous city in the world in 1948, overtaking London, which had reigned for over a century. The difficult years of the Great Depression saw the election of reformer Fiorello LaGuardia as mayor and the fall of Tammany Hall after eighty years of political dominance.[24]

   York College, founded in 1966, is the newest of CUNY's nine senior colleges. It is located on a 50 acre campus in Jamaica, Queens. Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse areas of New York and the campus reflects this. The student body is drawn from a broad cross-section of the city's diverse population, with representation from at least 50 countries, from Algeria to Yemen. The Jamaica neighborhood, which dates back to the 1600s, is a vibrant shopping area. York is easily accessible by bus, subway train, railroad or car, and is close to both LaGuardia and JFK airports.

As an economy measure in August 1933, Young reduced the advertising budget for the ironically named ''Better Times'' Art Union to £1,500. Hammond and McArthur, in response, concentrated their advertising on the metropolitan newspapers. Sales fell and disagreement ensued.    Since its consolidation in 1898, New York City has been a metropolitan municipality with a "strong" mayor-council form of government. The mayor and councillors are elected to four-year terms. The New York City Council is a unicameral body consisting of 51 Council members whose districts are defined by geographic population boundaries. The mayor and councilmembers are limited to two four-year terms. The "Board of Estimates" used to be considered the "upper house" of the city legislature until it was abolished in the early 90's. City Council offices are located at 250 Broadway, adjacent to City Hall.
6. New York Tourism -- New York City
   The City of New York is really five "cities," each with its own personality. As nearly everyone knows, there are five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island. Each has its own unique atmosphere. But when tourists, visitors, diplomats, artists, architects, business people, and virtually everyone else speaks of New York City, the first thoughts, images, and emotional reactions are of the borough of Manhattan. New York City is "The Big Apple," the city that never sleeps, the advertising, fashion, financial, and artistic capital of the world. No doubt this list is far from exhaustive!

   The first stop for immigrants was traditionally New York City and many of them stayed here, which is one reason New York City has a global composition. It has ... been the site of great tragedy, but even the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 only brought the city closer together. Each street side may look different, the only common theme to the restaurants is their variety, and buildings that date from over a century ago coexist with modern skyscrapers, but there’s a unity in the diversity.

   The New York Yankees are a Major League Baseball team, based in the borough of The Bronx, in New York City. The team name is often shortened to the Yanks, and the nickname the Bronx Bombers is ... used. The club was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1901, and moved to New York in 1903. From 1923 to the present, the Yankees have played at Yankee Stadium.

   New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was started in 1996 by Dr. Chi Chow. Dr. Chow felt that the New York City area had need for a school which taught Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), especially acupuncture and Chinese herbology, much as it is taught in China, and which at the same time could help students relate this approach to Western medical practice.
10. New York Hotel -- New York City
    The New York Knicks, short for ?Knickerbockers?, play in New York City?s famous Madison Square Garden. The Knicks were members of the now-defunct Basketball Association of America, which merged with the National Basketball League to form the National Basketball Association in 1949. In the NBA?s first ten years, the Knicks played in three straight NBA Finals games, from 1951-1953. They are one of only two teams from the original NBA that are still located in the same city. The Knicks won their first game against the Toronto Huskies, 68-66. The Knicks continued to field respectable teams in the 1950s, but witnessed a marked decline in the 1960s.
