Professor Bernstein closely follows New York City business growth and neighborhood economic development. Her teaching interests include journalistic writing, media ethics, feature article writing, covering New York City business, and covering the business of arts and culture. A recipient of Baruch’s Distinguished Teaching and Service awards, Bernstein is a graduate of Brandeis and holds a Ph.D. in English from N.Y.U. As a faculty fellow in Baruch College's Office of College Advancement, she helped create the literature and wrote proposals for The Campaign for Baruch, a fund raising initiative that has raised millions for the College.

This 4 minute aerial tramway ride to Roosevelt Island, just east of Manhattan, has been praised in the New York Times as "the most exciting view in New York City!" A bus runs the length of the island and meets up with the Tramway, giving easy access to the fields and picnic areas. The tramway leaves from Second Avenue and 60th Street on Sunday-Thursday from 6am-2am and on Friday and Saturday until 3:30 am. NEW YORK, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Private Bank of Bank of America today announced the appointment of Margaret M.V. Preston as market executive for New York City. In this role, Preston will be responsible for leading The Private Bank's efforts in delivering comprehensive wealth management services and advice to wealthy individuals and families in the market.
The sculpture was inspired by the 1987 stock market crash, when Di Modica sold his farm in Sicily to help fund his project. "Charging Bull" arrived in front of the Stock Exchange in the dead of night on December 15, 1989 when there were no authorities nearby. Since there was no permit, it was removed by the police. So great was public support for this endeavor that on December 20, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation arranged for the piece to have a new stomping ground at its current location at Bowling Green, the city's oldest park.
NFA will hold the next in its series of "Issues and Answers" Member meetings on Tuesday, May 3, in New York City. The meeting will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites, 102 North End Avenue.
