The New Orleans Saints are expected to meet and workout with QB Kerry Joseph as early as next week. Joseph attended McNeese State and played in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks as a defensive back and a special teams player. He helped the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League win their first CFL title in 2007. Joseph won the league's MVP award and the Grey Cup MVP award.

The New Orleans Saints are back! They are once again playing in the newly revamped Louisiana Superdome and are well on their way to the next Super Bowl. Can Drew Brees step things up a notch and launch this team to the playoffs? The Saints have Reggie Bush to help carry them and with Sean Payton in the director's seat there shouldn't be a question about postseason play!

New Orleans assembled the National Football Conference’s (NFC) strongest defense in 1990 and 1991, led by one of the best linebacker units in the league. In 1992 linebackers Rickey Jackson, Vaughn Johnson, Sam Mills, and Pat Swilling all played in the Pro Bowl, and the Saints led the league in quarterback sacks. Despite its tenacious defense, the team lost in the first round each time it made the playoffs. At the end of the 1996 season, former Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka replaced Mora. Ditka was fired after the 1999 season. The New Orleans Saints have never played in the Super Bowl.

After Sunday's unpleasant 21-6 loss to Dolphins, the New Orleans Saints know that they'll find out pretty quickly if coach Jim Haslett keeps his promises. They probably know already, bearing in mind that he has been around for five seasons. His team is 'on notice' after the loss, in what was supposed to be a happy day for loyal Saints fans.

New Orleans will make a decision on McAllister in March, when he's due a $1 million roster bonus. It seems likely that Deuce will be paid after Reggie Bush failed to establish himself as an every-down answer in 2007. The team could then look to turn some of his $3.6 million salary into incentives. Loomis did say that McAllister's recovery from a torn ACL is going well.
