The 8-Ball Challenge, and its partners, are proud to have adopted New Orleans own West Jefferson High School, a school in many ways still crippled by its needs and the impact of Hurricane Katrina. Proceeds from the event will assist the school in opening a new computer lab for its students.

Final Destination 4 Cast Revealed New Orleans ticket broker, Final Destination 4 Cast Revealed Shantel VanSanten New Line has signed Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo and Hayley Webb as the stars of Final Destination 4, reports Variety. Nick Zano, Krista Allen and Andy Fiscella round out the cast. David R. Ellis, who helmed the second installment, will direct the horror-thriller. The story kicks off when a teenager's premonition of a deadly racecar crash spares his life and those of a few lucky others. But death continues to stalk those who escaped.

West, who leads New Orleans with 16.8 points and 7.8 rebounds, missed his second straight game to be with his wife and newborn child. He was on the active list, but did not arrive at the Ford Center. The Hornets lost 97-75 to Indiana on Monday in his first game away.
