This card has a good feature set and is loaded with a good 32 megs of RAM onboard. The S3TC is capable of rendering 2048x2048 textures (taking up little space in the onboard RAM), so you can store gobs of textures. Hopefully Quake III Arena will support this technology too.

From the previous tests, one might think that the outlook for this card is rather bleak. And you'd be right. However, the CL Savage4 would stand in a much better light when playing games that include full support for S3 Texture Compression
