Naturism

International Naturist Federation (INF) Naturism is a very interesting case. The newborn babies stop being naturists only because of their parents decision. By the same people’s decision, they can stay that way until they grow up. It’s fascinating to watch naturist grandparents coming with their grandchildren in age 3 to 15.
Naturism is a philosophy all of its own. It is characterised by the acceptance of all people, no matter what their body shape, size or colour and by the freedom experienced when the body is exposed to nature's elements. This gives a feeling of exhilaration and relaxation that relieves stress and tension.

Nudist Beach Naturism began as a self-help reform movement in reaction to the debilitating aspects of industrialization and urbanization during the nineteenth century. At a time when medicine could neither explain nor cure disease, many people believed that crowded and unsanitary cities, tenement housing, restrictive victorian clothing, and oppressive working conditions all led to poor health and rampant illness. Some observers concluded that what people needed was exposure to the natural healing elements or fresh air, sunlight, and water--preferably with loose or absent clothing. An informal coalition of natural lifestyle reform movements took shape during the late nineteenth century, combining clothing reform, vegetarianism, abstinence from alcohol and tobacco, and naturopathy. Inevitably some pioneers suggested that nudity must be an integral part of lifestyle reform. Nudism found expression in several books written in Germany at the end of the century by Heinrich Pudor and Richard Ungewitter, and the idea received cultural support when the first modern Olympic Games in Athens drew attention to classical nudity.

Like every book, the Living Book of Naturism pays attention on texts. The book contains interesting articles about naturism and things connected with it. The authors do not avoid delicate themes about sexuality. They express theif view about naturism and sexuality. Some naturist and nudist beginners described how they how they had taken clothes in front of other people for the first time. The Living book of Naturism is your book above all, and you are invited to publish your texts. Your experiences, travels, or reflections about naturism are very welcome.
Naturism, or nudism as it is sometimes called, is generally defined as the practice of going nude, especially in a mixed social setting. While accurate as far as it goes, the standard definition fails to grasp the "why" of naturism -- why do people choose to be naturists? Individual responses to that question vary greatly. For some, naturism is a carefully considered lifestyle; for others, it is no more complicated than a day at the nearest nude beach. What connects these two extremes is the sense of freedom naturist activities provide. It may be a matter of simple comfort—first-time skinny-dippers frequently marvel at how good it feels to be clothes-free—or there may be something more profound.
Naturism is founded on family participation. Children in naturist families learn to appreciate the body as part of their natural environment. They grow up with healthful attitudes and accept the physical nature of both sexes and all ages without fear or shame.
