There are approximately 100 trading posts and galleries scattered throughout the 12-block downtown Gallup area making this the undisputed center for authentic Native American art. Although a few trading posts exist on various reservations and in small villages, Gallup embraces this traditional approach to doing business. Most of the trading posts specialize in pawn, making the experience unique to Gallup.
