On Saturday, Nathalie Dechy will be for the second time straight in the Women's Doubles final at the US Open. Paired with Dinara Safina, the Lacoste Champion has indeed defeated the duo Kveta Peschke-Rennae Stubb (n�6) in two sets (6-4, 6-4). In final against the Ta�wan players Yung-Jan Chan and Chia-Jung Chuan (n�5), Nathalie Dechy will have a new occasion to shine, after her title on those Flushing Meadows courts last year, and her victory in Mixed Doubles at Roland Garros.

Nathalie Dechy (born on February 21, 1979 in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe) is a French professional tennis player. She is a three-time doubles Grand Slam champion, winning the 2006 U.S. Open ladies title with Vera Zvonareva, the 2007 French Open mixed doubles title with Andy Ram and the 2007 U.S. Open ladies title with Dinara Safina, who Dechy beat in the 2006 final with Vera Zvonareva. Her biggest singles achievement is reaching the semifinals of the 2005 Australian Open, where she was just two points away from the final, before eventually losing to Lindsay Davenport.

China's Zheng Jie celebrates after a Fed Cup doubles victory over French players Nathalie Dechy and Virginie Razzano in Beijing. Zheng and Yan Zi defeated the French duo 7-5, 7-6 (7-5). The win helped China to a nailbiting 3-2 quarter-final victory and they will now progress to the last four of the tournament for the very first time.
