Dark-eyed, dark-haired British actress Nanette Newman was still in her teens when she made her first film appearance in Personal Affairs in 1953. The wife of director Bryan Forbes, Nanette Newman has been featured in several of Forbes' best films, including The Whisperers in 1966, The Wrong Box in 1968 and The Stepford Wives in 1975. She is a familiar presence on British television, starring in the weekly series Let Their Be Love, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Late Expectations.
