Mysterio: Eddie Guerrero
built 278 days ago
Mysterio would go on to attain fame in World Championship Wrestling in the mid 90s. He became the flagship of the new Cruiserweight Revolution in the United States of America. At that point, his name was anglicized in to Mysterio. This aided in the marketing of him as a “mystery man.” He engaged in many famous battles with Ultimo Drago, Juventud Guerrera, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Psicosis, and a host of others during this period. He would hold the WCW Cruiserweight Championship five times.

Will the world call Mysterio champion again? It's up to Vince McMahon, really. Right now McMahon seems to be stuck on behemoths like Dave Batista and The Undertaker for the "Smackdown!" championship mix. In the meantime, Mysterio says he's satisfied with reaching out to Hispanic audiences. With the sad death of his close friend Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio is now the most famous Hispanic grappler in the world -- perhaps in the history of sports entertainment.
